Portrait of a future football player – baby photography
I first met Mason before he was born! His mom Laura and his dad came in for maternity portraits about 1 month before he was due. I could tell Mason as going to be a big boy even then. They were 49ers fans, and we did the usual maternity portrait, but also put on 49er’s jerseys to show their colors.
I photographed Laura and Mason when he was barely 1 month old. Mason had some heath issues and it was a great honor to be one of the first people outside of family and doctors that was able to see Mason! See this blog for a portrait I made of Laura and Mason from that occasion.
Yesterday Laura brought Mason in for the first of his baby’s first year portraits, slightly later than the 3 months when this first portrait is usually taken. We did the on-the-belly shot with his head lifted pose for normal 3 month olds. But then we did this one with his bear. Mason was striking the same pose as the bear. Or was the bear imitating Mason?
He is one of the cutest baby boys I have met, and he gave me lots of smiles and giggles. Way to go, Mason
