Conclusion of Santa Paws with raffle drawing

During the weekend of December 18 and 19, despite the rain, Santa Cruz SPCA volunteers and I were at the Roaring Camp Railroads in Felton to take holiday portraits of pets and people to raise funds for the SPCA. Due to the bad weather, we had fewer people than last weekend. But overall, we raised a good sum of money for the SPCA, so it was definitely a worthwhile endeavor. At the end of the day, Santa Claus picked the winning raffle ticket number 699720, belonging to Debbie Neal of Santa Cruz. Congratulations to Debbie for winning, and also we thank Debbie and all those who came to the event who supported the SPCA! Happy Holiday, everyone!See this page for information about the event.

Teaching Yoga book author headshot photo

My yoga teacher Mark Stephens had just published a book called “Teaching Yoga”. What does that got to do with me? I did this headshot used in his book last year! It takes a long time and lots of effort to publish a book. It’s great to be a small part of his book. Mark is a wonderful teacher and person. He also went to UCLA but our paths only crossed in Santa Cruz in the last few years. If you are thinking about getting into yoga, Santa Cruz Yoga is where Mark can be found teaching.
